Points of concern and common courtesies
Please clean up after your pet when walking the neighborhood Please pick up your trash bins on Wednesday night Please collect all garage/yard sale signs when your sale is over The neighborhood speed limit should not exceed 30 mph A lot of complaints about basketball goals being left in the street have been made recently. Neighbors are not complaining about the children playing with them, just the fact that they are eyesores when not being used. Please put them away when not in use.

What has the Board been doing since we took over last May?
As many of you know, we have only had control of the Board since May of
2007 when the developer turned over the association to the homeowners.
Since then, the Board has met at least once a month (up to four in the
beginning!) to combine our business knowledge and take care of all of the
issues that are entailed with running a small business. We basically had to
start the HOA from scratch, following the city, state, and community
guidelines. This took a lot of our time. We compiled mailing lists from
scratch, built a website, established a checks and balances system for each
other, decided on procedures for complaints, took care of obvious
violations (yards and Choice homes lots, etc.), got the property along 2871
taken care of, straightened out the lawn care service for the common area,
put together to Halloween meet and greet, dealt with past due
assessments, checking accounts, researched lawyers, accountants, and on
top of all of that we handled neighborhood complaints. After a year, we feel
that we are established enough to begin having more community
involvement. Please see the below bulletins to see what you can be doing
everyday to keep our community looking it's best.
